Abstract: This study evaluates the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) 2014/40/EU, the Tobacco Advertising Directive (TAD) 2003/33/EC, and broader relevant tobacco control policies at EU and national level. The study provides the Commission with an objective assessment of the implementation of the TPD and TAD in a wider context of tobacco control measures. The research methodology includes consultation activities, market research, data analysis, and the development of health and economic indicators.
