Open Evidence will lead the “Study on mapping and evaluating the implementation of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan”

Open Evidence will lead the “Study on mapping and evaluating the implementation of the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan” in consortium with PwC EU services and a panel of experts.

Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, adopted in February 2021, proposes actions across the four steps of the cancer pathway (prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment, and quality of life of cancer patients and survivors) and three cross-cutting themes (research and innovation, inequalities, and paediatric cancers). The purpose of the study is to support the review of the Europe Beating Cancer Plan, planned by the end of 2024.

The study will run for 12 months and the tasks include a future proofing analysis, country analysis, an evaluation of progress of actions funded under the EU4Health programme, the development of a monitoring framework, focus groups and workshops.
