New study for EU-OSHA on automation in the health and social care sector

Open Evidence, with KU Leuven, has been awarded a new study for the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) on ‘Automation of cognitive and physical tasks and the implications for safety and health in the health and social care sector – literature review’.

Based on a literature review, the study aims to provide an overview of the state of play, the tasks and good practices related to the use of artificial intelligence and robotics for the automation of physical and cognitive tasks in the health and social care sectors, with a focus on the impacts on occupational health and safety.

The study will run for nine months.
