Eurofound just published the report ‘Ethical digitalisation at work: From theory to practice’ based on the findings of the study conducted by Open Evidence and VVA (lead) on ‘Human and ethical implications of automation and digitisation for work organisation and working conditions’.
The VVA-Open Evidence study involved a literature review, two Delphi surveys with experts, almost 60 interviews with national stakeholders across nine countries and four case studies on establishments that have adopted AI and robotics technologies.
The report presents the conceptual framework around ethics in a digital workplace, an overview of the national debates and policies on digitalisation at work and ethical issues, and an analysis of the adoption of AI and robotics at the workplace, related impacts and ethical approaches to digitalisation at the workplace.
