Abstract: The study aims to gather primary data, through an online survey in the EU27 Member States, on the demand-side trends in media markets to assist the Commission in the preparation of the second edition of the European Media Industry Outlook. More specifically, it aims to gather audience data and explore the habits and preferences of EU consumers when it comes to the consumption of media content. While this behavioural study has an exploratory perspective, researching a broad market with many segments, and a large set of issues, from a behavioural perspective, the Media Industry Outlook aims to inform future policy decisions.
