Next 27th-29th of May, the HIMSS Europe 18 & Health 2.0 Conference is going to be the most influential digital health conference of 2018 and will include sessions which will address the whole spectrum of the digital health ecosystem with the aim to reach key audiences in the sector: from hospital CEOs to innovative SMEs and start-ups, as well as CMOs, clinicians and nurses. Conference themes will include: digital transformation, cybersecurity, interoperability and data into knowledge.
Moreover, the 5th edition of the European Telemedicine Conference (ETC2018) is feature into the HIMSS Europe 18 & Health 2.0 event and will address the most relevant challenges in telemedicine implementation as well as showcase the most promising practices across Europe.
Prof. Francisco Lupiáñez-Villanueva, Open Evidence Partner and Director of UOC-BSA Chair on Health Data analytics and Big data, is co-chairing the Scientific Committee together with Prof. Kristian Kidholm (Centre for Innovative Medical Technology, Odense University Hospital) which is in charge for the review and selection of the four best abstracts that will be presented during the Scientific Session at the ETC2018 on Monday 28th at 15:30.
In addition, on Tuesday 29th at 12:00 he will present during the session Turning Data Into Value: Informing Clinical Decisions, Improving Outcomes, Advancing Research in the HIMSS/Health 2.0 Interaction Track and from 14:00 to 16:30 he will act as facilitator at the workshop Unleashing the power of data through primary and secondary use.
