Pandemic Virus Trace Application for the Effective Knowledge Transfer Between Science and Society Inside the Quadruple Helix Collaboration
The concept of PandeVITA enables knowledge transfer between society and science inside of the quadruple helix on the European level. The main outcome of the project will be the PandeVITA application, where Corona citizen scientists and app developers will be able to continuous communicate within their communities, professionals and other members of the quadruple helix, collect data, while kept engaged, trained and informed in an easy way. With help of the PandeVITA app, the consortium will create and execute an innovative evaluation concept based on different feedback categories to measure social awareness and acceptability of scientific recommendations and advices.
In this context, Open Evidence will lead WP5 “Pilot and feasibility tests”, by developing an evaluation framework specifying all data to be collected throughout the project regards privacy, trust, improvements, storage and other areas relevant for the Data Management Plan and PandeVITA communication, dissemination and exploitation. Open Evidence will also develop a protocol for the implementation of the platform in each pilot site, and subsequently will lead their operation, support and data gathering activities. Monitored behaviours, user satisfaction and ease of use, and multiple different other factors, will be assessesed and evaluated. Concretely, the analysis will be performed in the following dimensions: adoption, efficiency, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness (using the MAFEIP tool) and impact.
